How It All Began

My journey to the Maldives didn’t start with a glossy travel brochure—it started with a PowerPoint slide. Back in the corporate grind, a colleague sent me a breathtaking image of an overwater villa with a cheeky note: “Get back to work.” That image sparked more than just a momentary distraction; it lit a lifelong passion.

The Turning Point: 2005

In 2005, following the quiet aftermath of the tsunami, I seized a rare opportunity to visit the islands. I took the leap for my first visit with my wife and close friends, and the trip was transformative. The Maldives became more than a destination; it became a personal escape and, eventually, a calling.

Growing with the Islands

What started as a couple’s retreat soon evolved into family traditions. My son took his very first trip to the Maldives at just 18 months old. Over the years, we have returned again and again, marking nearly a decade of shared family memories in paradise.
